The arts are disciplines of study in themselves with own histories and practices yet they are also increasingly recognized for the ways they promote learning for kids to youth and in various ways. The Arts Education develops skill needed by the 21th century work force: critical thinking, creative problem solving, effective communication, teamwork,
and many more. It helps all the students to develop more appreciation and understanding of the world around them, which in turn develops positive work ethic in their minds. It helps students develop a sense of craftsmanship, quality task performance, and goal setting –skill needed to succeed in the class room and beyond. It makes tremendous impact on the developmental growth of every child and has been proven to help level the "learning field" across Socio-Economics boundaries. The society in which we live is associated with one or other form of art. Each person has an aesthetic sense and has likening for beautiful things. Art is a medium to express ones feeling and emotions. There are total 64 types of art. Out of this 7 are included in Lalit kala art and others are in handicraft. Drawing and panting is one of the most important from of art in our society which included designing of cloth, building, jeweler, auto, film, furniture and many other things. The need of this special Art Education was indentified by Mr.P.A. Inamdar, Hon'ble President of M.C.E. Society and he established the Arts Education College named as "M.C. E. Society's School of Art". He has a vision to amalgamate the technology with art to bring revolution in the filed of Art Education. In the form of Art Academy he has provided ample field and platform to our young artist to excel their talent to fly beyond the HORIOZON The M. C. E. Society's School of Art recognized by the Directorate of Art Maharashtra State,Mumbai and Affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education ,was started on 1st July 2008 at Azam Campus,pune
